702 Paulina Invitational

Beer Pong Rules

The final matchup

Champions: Team Busta Hymen

The Basic Rules:
- 2 players per team
- A pyramid of 10 cups on each side of a standard ping-pong table. 36 ounces of beer distributed evenly between these 10 cups.
- Ping pong balls are thrown (or bounced) toward the opposing team's cups. If a ball lands in a cup, the beer in that cup is consumed by the defending team and the cup is removed. The ping-pong ball is not consumed, but rather thrown back at the other team's cups until all the cups from one side are depleted.
- First team to knock out all of the other team's cups wins.

Where you at!?

Additional House Rules:
1. When tossing a ball, guys must keep their elbows behind the table, or it counts as a loss of turn.
2. Girls can shoot from anywhere, without penalty, as long as they stand behind the table.
3. When opposing team makes a cup, you must finish your drink before tossing your ball.
4. If a team makes both consecutive shots, they get the balls back to shoot again.
5. Re-racks occur at 6 and 3 cups. Re-racks only occur after both players on a team have had their turn.
6. A ball spinning around the lip of the cup may be blown out by female players, but not by male players. In other words, girls can blow, and should feel free to do so, both during the game and after.
7. Intentionally bounced in balls count for two cups.
8. Once a ball touches the table, it is allowed to be swatted or caught by the defending team.
9. A cup knocked off the table or otherwise spilled by a flung ping-pong ball counts as a made cup, as long as the shot was not a malicious, carnival-style fastball. In other words, no knocking over cups on purpose. Any beer spilled in such an instance need not be licked off the garage floor - we can spare it.
10. If a player accidentally knocks over one of their own cups in the course of excessive celebration or excessive idiocy, that cup is lost.
11. Home (second-shooting) team always receives their final "ups", meaning they get one last chance to sink any remaining cups once the other team has finished. A tie will result in a 3-cup, 1-beer overtime.
12. Losing team finishes any remaining cups on the winning team's side.
13. For the finals (and possibly semi-finals) …… special Extreme Beer Pong rules will be announced, if necessary.
