Duck Dynasty - 11/23/12
As a part explanation for why I haven't been keeping up on the old blog as much, a quick update on major updates in the past year:

- February: Got engaged to my now-fiancee, Kasey. But no, I didn't do it by swimming up under her boat during her Aruba vacation, holding a surprise ring, Little Mermaid-style, as her sister Kiki hoped. We get married next September.

- May: Moved in with Kasey, after four years in the Jungle (the nickname for the 4-room bachelor house my brother and I own). Believe it or not, this is a WAY bigger adjustment than actually getting married.

- September: Got hired to work short-term on a couple of TV shows: Porter Ridge Road a Discovery Channel comedy premiering next spring/summer, and the more well-known Duck Dynasty, which is in the middle of its second season. The episodes I worked on will be airing in March/April.

Can't give anything away, but if you're not familiar with the show, check out this viral video somebody made for the show, and you'll fall in love with at least one of the characters, Si.
